"The 2022 Corton Les Grandes Lolières Grand Cru comes from a climat that is planted with white and red, though it is forbidden to write the name of the lieu-dit if it is Chardonnay. This offers attractive red cherry, wild strawberry and potpourri scents on the nose where you might incorrectly assume there are stems. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy black fruit, a pinch of black pepper, and allspice. It’s quite concentrated on the finish if maybe missing the finesse that I discerned on the previous vintage. It's still a promising Corton, though." – Neal Martin
