Nashwauk

Purchased in 2005 by Kaesler Wines, the vineyard is located in the Seaview sub-region (unofficial) of McLaren Vale. The Nashwauk vineyard is 20 hectares, with vines from 13- 45 years old. Benefiting from sea breezes and cooler nights, this region is one of the most celebrated areas for growing Shiraz. Black fruits, plums, chocolate intertwined with smoky notes, its Shiraz has got lots of richness wrapped in a cloak of velvet and fine tannins.

Today, Ernesto’s daughter Jole and his son Enrico are actively involved in the winery. According to Enrico his objective is “to produce wine that follows the tradition of the region, and to ensure that as much of the character and personality of the vineyard, and grape varietal as possible is present in the bottle.
