Baricci’s history dates back to 1955 when Nello Baricci, one of the 26 founders of the Association of Brunello di Montalcino in 1967, purchased 5 hectares of vineyards in Colombaio di Montosoli. The first bottle of Rosso di Montalcino was made in 1968 followed by the first vintage of Brunello di Montalcino in 1971. To find the most appropriate estate, La Rioja Alta sought both the counsel of the old growers in the area and the advice of professors of viticulture. They studied and analyzed soils, grapes and climates in different sub-areas. Finally, Anguix, Burgos proved to be the ideal location. Their vineyards are at an altitude of 830 m above sea level, where almost 80 hectares of Tinta del País were planted.

Domaine de Tamary is a project between Frederic Salin of Salin, the négociant house in Bordeaux and Jean Luc Zuger, owner of Château Malescot St. Exupery in Margaux. The property is located in Provence, close to the Mediterranean sea and at the foot of the Massif des Maures. Using Cinsault, Grenache and Mourvèdre, the estate extracts the grapes gently to produce a rosé with a lovely nose, lots of fresh fruit and well balanced minerality.
