"Somewhat surprisingly this is even more aromatically elegant than the Caillerets with its cool and restrained nose equally perfumed and ultra-pure essence of red pinot fruit and plenty of mineral nuances. There is really lovely focus and detail to the vibrant medium-bodied flavors that exude a fine minerality on the delicious, balanced and exceptionally persistent finish. This isn't quite as structured or dramatic as the Caillerets, but it's just as good." - Allen Meadows

Sweet and tactile on the palate, with a subtle complexity and very good energy to the flavors of red berries, licorice and chalky minerality. Dense and seamless, with tangy acidity giving the middle palate good perfumed lift. Finishes slightly herbal, even a bit tart, but with noteworthy energy.
