"The 2022 Chenin Blanc Old Vine Reserve is matured in 400-liter French oak, 30% new. I'm seeking more varietal character to come through, so hopefully, that new oak influence will ebb with a couple of years in bottle. The palate is taut and crisp on the entry, hints of baked bread infusing the citrus peel and light apricot notes. Gentle, harmonious, and quite seductive, though I would be inclined to cellar for a few months to soak up that oak." - Neal Martin
