"This is actually quite similar to the villages cuvée if perhaps slightly more reserved. As is usually the case the mouth feel of the medium-bodied flavors is somewhat finer but also more muscular and particularly so on the firmer and robust finish. Curious however, the mid-palate is not quite as dense and while this is a better wine overall, the difference is pretty slight." - Allen Meadows
