"Notes of matchstick and petrol serve as a reasonably subtle backdrop for the aromas of ripe pear, apple and floral wisps. There is excellent volume but also fine verve to the utterly delicious, rich and mouth coating flavors that are at once powerful yet elegant, all wrapped in a borderline chewy and tannic finish. This possesses excellent depth and length though if there is a nit it's that it is somewhat less elegance than usual. That said, this still very youthful effort is most impressive." - Allen Meadows
