"The 2019 Meursault Les Genevrières 1er Cru sports a very slight reduction on the nose, though it remains fresh and delineated. Perhaps the oak is a little too evident at this stage. That will need to be absorbed in the next two or three years. The palate is well-balanced and has more complexity than the nose. Orange peel mixes with quince and crushed stone. There's impressive precision toward the finish, with chamomile suggested on the aftertaste. Though its components still need to meld fully, this Meursault has immense potential.
