Bouchard Pere & Fils, Echezeaux Grand Cru Combe d'Orveaux Domaine 2020

The Bouchard Echézeaux from domaine fruit is positively lovely (and a step up from the one produced with purchased fruit). The texture has admirable density but no heaviness; there is an elegance and finesse, even in this hot year, that is very refreshing. This wine has a particularly forward, ripe, plummy fruit with a marvellous nuance of earthy, savoury and spicy notes. -Decanter
