"Bright medium red. Knockout musky nose combines candied strawberry, iron, minerals, espresso and mocha. Sweet, thick and highly concentrated, if a tad reduced today. A large-scaled, airy, very broad wine with mouthfilling flavors of roasted strawberry, minerals and smoky earth tones. Finishes with suave tannins, firm underlying structure and terrific length and grip. Like the best of the Bouchard 2002s, this should be laid down for at least five to eight years." – Vinous
