"The 2022 Chambertin Clos-de-Bèze Grand Cru comes from purchased grapes, though Bouchard directs the harvest. It feels slightly closed on the nose despite coaxing, revealing brambly red fruit, blueberry and a light marine influence with time. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins. This is well-balanced with ample freshness. It is structured but retains sufficient elegance and refinement on the finish. Excellent - but be patient." - Neal Martin
