1987 Le Corton Grand Cru: "The best wine I tasted in 1987 from Bouchard is their Corton, one of the house specialties. It shows some spicy new oak, has ripeness as well as depth and length. It should prove to be one of the longer-lived 1987s." - Robert Parker

1999 Clos Vougeot Grand Cru: "Plenty of weight of fruit on the nose, though not one of the fresher examples. However, there is a really impressive core of concentrated fruit on the palate and a lively mineral crunch at the back. The tannins remain quite noticeable. There is plenty more life to this. 2011 Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru: "Aromas of redcurrant, strawberry and clove. Sweet and rich for 2011 but with lovely saline sappiness to its ripe flavors of strawberry, raspberry and spices. A substantial grand cru but less densely packed than the 2012 version; this will be much more approachable in its youth. Finishes with sweet tannins and a lingering note of cherry pit." - Vinous 93pts
