"The fruit for this 2018 Grenache-Shiraz-Mataro is sourced from six vineyards, approximately 80-120 years old and very low yielding: Savory and meaty, this is excellent. There is eminent balance and pleasure here. It has star anise and savory deli meat, and I love the visibility of oak on the palate: it’s cedary and good. There is excellent length of flavor. 2018 plays a big part in my love for this wine. This is a very good vintage, one that can be defined by its vitality and fresh red fruit." - Wine Advocate
