Henriot Hemera is a blend of the six founding Crus, 3 Chardonnay Crus from the Côte des Blancs and 3 Pinot Noir Crus from the Montagne de Reims, in equal proportion, resulting in the perfect balance between Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

Lying for more than 13 years in the cellars, Henriot Hemera 2008 presents a construction loyal to its historical terroirs, made of amplified contrasts and intense demonstration throughout the year 2008. It also shows an intimidating freshness, delicacy, distinction and power, all in restraint, characterising this creation.

“The wine boasts both the purity and luminosity of the Chardonnay village of Le Mesnil-Sur-Oger, and at the same time the generosity and latent power of the Pinot Noir which comes from the grand cru of Verzenay. Only disgorged four months previously, the wine is reticent, but only up to a point. One can already discern the seductive marriage of power and elegance which looks set to inform its future.
