"Not surprisingly this is completely different from any of the foregoing wines with its strikingly spicy aromas of fresh and pure wild red berries, warm earth, wet stone and a hint of humus. There is good richness and excellent intensity to the detailed and mineral-inflected medium weight plus flavors that possess good phenolic maturity and a firm core of ripe tannins on the strikingly long finish. By the standards of the appellation this is not a particularly big or robust Bèze but the balance is impeccable and the harmony among structural elements is really lovely." - Allen Meadows
