"Whole-bunch pressed and fermented in French oak barriques (40% new) for 9 months with some going through mlf, lees stirring, and judging by the liveliness of the acidity, it needed all that to bolster the palate. It's a bit of a yin and yang wine - richly flavoured with stone fruit dipped in spice, yet tight on the other with citrus tones especially lemon sorbet. Tightly coiled now but will go the distance." - James Halliday
