Château Talbot Wine Dinner

Join us at Ming Court in the Cordis and experience an enchanting 5-course dinner, paired with a range of premium wines from Château Talbot. Using the most refined Cantonese cooking methods, combined with the finest ingredients, Executive Chef Li Yuet Faat has crafted a menu perfectly complemented by Château Talbot wines ranging between the 1996 and 2012 vintages.

Named after Sir John Talbot, the English Governor of Aquitaine in the 15th Century, Château Talbot is one of the Médoc’s oldest and most highly acclaimed estates. It is one of the largest estates in the Médoc and comprises of 107 hectares of vineyards, in the heart of the Saint-Julien commune. Today, it is owned by Nancy Bignon-Cordier and her husband Jean-Paul Bignon. They are the fourth generation of Cordiers to manage this Saint-Julien Fourth Growth.

Talbot has a reputation for consistency and is one of the most carefully made and reliable of the St-Julien Cru Classé wines. The best examples are richly aromatic with a bouquet of cedarwood and vanilla, scented cassis fruits, with a palate packed with well-delineated, ripe, black fruits and finely integrated tannins.
