Bouchard Père & Fils and Domaine William Fèvre En Primeur 2018 Tasting

While the wines are still in the barrel, wine critics from around the world have heralded 2018 as one of the greatest vintages in Burgundy, offering both quality and quantity.

Surrounded by the optimism about this vintage, for the first time ever, we will co-host an En Primeur Tasting event with Bouchard Père & Fils and Domaine William Fèvre. You will have the opportunity to sample 36 wines, ranging from Village to Grand Crus, for a sneak preview of this highly regarded vintage, before they arrive on the market.

The Cellar Masters from these two domaines will be present to give you some insight on the wines and the vintage. To add more enjoyment, back vintages of Beaune 1er Cru Greves Vigne de L'Enfant Jésus and Domaine William Fèvre Chablis 1er Cru Vaulorent, will also be showcased.

About Vintage 2018

2018 started off wet and cool. This winter rain eventually helped the vines to survive through the hot and dry summer. Many producers went through an early harvest under ideal conditions. The hail-free vintage also contributed a large crop, as well as grapes of high quality.
