A Journey of Discovery – The Wines of Veneto and Friuli

Join us at SPIGA, for an enjoyable dining experience and discover the wines of North-East Italy. A sumptuous 5-course menu, inspired by the regions, will be enjoyed with wines from Veneto and Friuli, featuring the highly rated Prosecco from Ruggeri, a great value for money Amarone from Roccolo Grassi and the Picolit sweet wine from Conte d’Attimis.

“Ruggeri’s quality is remarkably high, arguably the highest in Conegliano Valdobbiadene”

“Giustino B. stood out remarkably in our blind tasting of 190 Prosecco” - Christie’s World Encyclopedia of Champagne & Sparkling Wine 2013 edition

“Roccolo Grassi is one of the emerging stars in Valpolicella...” by The Wine Advocate’s Antonio Galloni

“I know, this is one of my limitations but also one of my advantages. I need to be prepared in order to do things well, meticulously, otherwise I am not able to do anything well. I am very demanding.” - Marco Sartori, wine maker & owner of Roccolo Grassi

This historic estate is one of Friuli’s oldest wine producing properties, and has been in the noble D’Attimis family for nearly five hundred years. Located in the prestigious Collio region, Conte D’Attimis-Maniago focuses on indigenous grape varieties that best reflect the unique terroir and tradition of Friuli. These aromatic wines offer remarkable purity and depth and manage to maintain their youthful character after years in the cellar.
