A Journey through Six Decades of Burgundy with Allen Meadows

Kerry Wines and Island Shangri-La Hotel are proud to present an evening with Allen Meadows, the world famous Burgundy expert and publisher of Burghound.com. Under his guidance, we will explore wines from six decades of Burgundy, accompanied by a sumptuous dinner prepared by Restaurant Pétrus.
 

In this wine pairing dinner, you will taste iconic Premier and Grand Cru wines from legendary producers such as Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, Comte de Vogüé, Méo-Camuzet, Guy Roulot and Georges Noëllat. With vintages starting from 1959 to 2004, this evening will allow you to experience the evolution of these rare Burgundy wines.
 

Before this exquisite dinner, Allen Meadows will guide you through a Master Class of six white and six red wines, showcasing the diverse wine styles from some of the famous areas in the Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune and Mâconnais. From the up and coming Pernand-Vergelesses and Saint-Aubin, to the renowned Puligny-Montrachet, Chambolle-Musigny and Vosne Romanée, this class will be a memorable experience and will end with a blind tasting of a mystery wine (But Pinot Noir of course!).
