Vetus vs Izadi

Flor de Vetus Blanco and Izadi El Regalo were the wines served during the coronation celebrations of King Felipe VI, at the Royal Palace. In this offer, we have put together a selection from Vetus and Izadi, that best represent the styles from 2 prestigious wine regions in Spain: Toro and Rioja Alavesa.

Located downstream on Duero river, Toro produces outstanding and full-bodied reds, with exuberant black fruits. Its high altitude is the key to offering sufficient sunlight exposure for good ripeness, but at the same time, a cool climate to preserve freshness in the fruit.

With temperatures moderated by the Atlantic Ocean, Rioja Alavesa produces delicate, scented wines, with finesse. It is a hilly region with chalk and limestone, making it an ideal terroir to grow Tempranillo, with a wonderful minerality.
