Tasca d'Almerita has been managing the winemaking activities of the Sallier de La Tour family's vineyards since 2009. The estate, which occupies about 77 hectares in the Jato valley, has been linked to wine since the second half of the 19th century.

A perfect blend of climate and soil types—in between rolling Sicilian hills and sea breezes— produces elegant and well balanced wines, with all the hallmarks of the fresh, hilltop terroir, alongside the dark subtleties of wines from the south. The Sallier de La Tour range also includes three typical Sicilian monovarietals: Grillo, Inzolia and Nero d'Avola, as well as a red and a white blend.
