La Gauloise dates back to 1783, when the liquorist Sieur Requier discovered the recipe. In the cellars, the Master Liquorist skillfully blends angelica, St John’s wort, saffron, cardamom, genepiand and other ingredients, followed by a double distillation. To ensure finesse and roundness are combined with power, fine brandy and sugar syrup are added. Finally, La Gauloise reveals its exceptional aromatic palate after slow aging.
