Chateau la Rose Bellevue

Situated amongst the vineyards of Premières Côtes de Blaye, Château la Rose Bellevue has been producing wine for four generations under the know-how of the Eymas family. The vineyard of 47 hectares benefits from the unique climatic conditions found in Nord-Gironde (60 kilometers from Bordeaux), close to the Gironde Estuary in the district of Saint-Palais. 39 hectares are planted with red grapes (Merlot 70% and Cabernet Sauvignon 30%) and 8 hectares with white (Sauvignon 85% and Muscadelle 15%). In 1997 a new winery was built. This building combines traditional winemaking methods with modern techniques: temperature controlled stainless steel tanks and oak barrels. Château la Rose Bellevue has been awarded multiple prizes from the Concours General Agricole de Paris, Concours de Bordeaux des Vins d’Aquitaine and Challenge International du Blayais Bourgeais.
