The refined Franc de Pied is made from ungrafted vines planted exclusively on sandy soils and raised in 12-hectoliter vats (foudres). The vines are entirely worked with horses. This wine has enticing aromas of raspberry, cherry and violet. There are subtle and delicate blackcurrant and spice flavors in the month, with an edge of acidity.
