"A deft application of wood sets off the densely fruited nose of plum, earth, violet and sauvage hints where the latter is noticeably less pronounced than in the Corbeaux. There is good detail and more evident minerality on the firm, intense and more tightly constructed flavors that possess a linear and impressively persistent finish that is slightly more austere.
