"It has quite an opulent and generous bouquet of precocious black cherries, crème de cassis and light violet aromas that are all very seductive. The palate is medium-bodied with saturated tannins; the oak is a little conspicuous at the moment but it should be subsumed by bottling. This sweet and pretty Echezeaux should give 15–20 years of drinking pleasure." -Neal Martin
